We have consistently developedour sound massage tables over 10 years. The intensive consultation and support of our instructor Martina Gläser-Böhme, who massages with the instrument almost daily, has created an instrument that stands out in sound, form and functionality. The result is a design that gently beds the client in a slightly curved bowl. The client’s body weight has no influence on the tuning, as our sound bed is built in such a way that the monochord area is decoupled. The soundboard is curved in two directions, as is usual with good stringed instruments, which favors the fullness and resonance of the monochord sound. A whole range of accessories can support the individual professional groups in their own way of working.
Octave sound massage table: 30 bare overtone strings in D in the middle and 15 wound bass strings in D on either side.
The instrument can be turned on its axis for tuning by loosening four screws. This makes tuning easier. The monochord can also be played in concert with the strings pointing upwards. The sparse and restrained sound of the overtones is also ideal for all types of singing . The voice is virtually challenged to tune into the ocean of sounds in order to come into harmony with the client.
